xTrace is software system for data collection and control of manufacturing processes. It captures and stores all kind of data from production, controls flow of parts and material across the enterprise, informs about production orders status, allows backward traceability and offers various statistics and graphs. xTrace is determined to trace piece by piece or batch production. System monitors and controls product’s work flow and stores data from each workstation including operation cycle time. All collected data is immediately available for statistics, graphs, analysis and trends in production. xTrace is based on Microsoft platform as the server-client solution. Individual work stations are equipped with data terminals and barcode scanners. At the beginning of the shift the operator logs in and each product or batch is scanned when passing through. Terminal is responsible for communication with server on one side and with peripherals like scanner, printer, beacon or production machine on other side.
